To get there:

By train: the nearest train station is Lamezia Terme Central railway station (17 km)

By flight: the closest (16 km) airport is Lamezia Terme (SUF)

By car: take the "Pizzo Calabro" exit of the E45/A2 highway and then go north on the SS18 until Contrada Difesa.

Tropea è un comune italiano della provincia di Vibo Valentia in Calabria. Affacciata sul Mar Tirreno, nella parte occidentale del promontorio del Poro ed al centro della Costa degli Dei, il suo centro storico è situato su una ripida rupe alta all'incirca 60 metri a strapiombo sul mare. Pizzo (impropriamente chiamato anche Pizzo Calabro) è un comune italiano della provincia di Vibo Valentia in Calabria. Si trova sulla Costa degli Dei. Il borgo è conosciuto per la produzione del tartufo di Pizzo e per la storica tradizione gelatiera, tanto da essere chiamato "la città del gelato".
